is skull-crushing psychedelia for the whole family to enjoy!
“The boys of Plastic Nancy embrace an acid-drenched atmosphere that manages to avoid outright retro nods, in favor of a 21st century sensibility that, nonetheless, captures the greatness of all those spaced-out bands of the late 60's that we know and love!” - RVA Mag
Plastic Nancy was founded by Sam Clemens and John DeGarmo in Richmond, Virginia in 2016. Paying homage to their deep appreciation for 1960's artists, Plastic Nancy's name was inspired by a lyric in Love's 1967 song, "The Daily Planet." After several years based in the DC-area, Plastic Nancy re-established themselves in Southern California in 2025, where California native Travis Garman joined the band as their drummer. Over the past decade, the band has shape-shifted through bars, clubs, and concert halls throughout the US to crystallize into a purified form of eclectic psychedelic rock. They’ve headlined sold out shows and festivals from the east to west coast, opening for bands such as of Montreal, The Garden, Vundabar, Hot Flash Heat Wave, Dehd, levitation room, Yasawa Group, and Color Green. Plastic Nancy's fourth LP will be released in August 2026 by Slouch Records following their summer, cross-country, 18 city tour.
